The Rock Pipit occurs on the rocky coasts of Scandinavia, the north and west coasts of Great Britain, Iceland, Ireland, Russia, and northern central Europe. I recorded it in Ireland. Rock Pipits weigh about 20 to 30 grams and reach a body length of 16.5 cm. The wingspan is 23 to 28 cm. The Rock Pipit is stocky and relatively massive in build. Der Strandpieper kommt an den felsigen Küsten Skandinaviens, den Nord- und Westküsten Großbritanniens, auf Island, in Irland, Russland und im nördlichen Mitteleuropa vor. Ich habe ihn in Irland aufgenommen. Strandpieper haben ein Gewicht etwa 20 bis 30 Gramm und erreichen eine Körperlänge von 16,5 cm. Die Flügelspannweite beträgt 23 bis 28 cm. Der Strandpieper ist gedrungen und relativ massig gebaut. Sie sind Einzelgänger nur im Winter treten sie in kleinen Gruppen auf.
