Der Torres del Paine ist wohl einer der bekanntesten Nationalparks Chiles, er liegt im Süden Chiles und ist ein Teil Patagoniens. Er gehört zur Región de Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena und liegt rund 140 km nördlich der Stadt Puerto Natales.
Auf einer Fläche von 2420 Km² ist er durchzogen von Gletschern, Fjörden und bis zu 3000 Meter hohen Bergen. Viele Seen, Tundra, große Wälder eine vielfältige Tierwelt und Blumen, sogar Orchideen, zeichnen diesen Nationalpark aus.
Der Cuernos del Paine ist wohl das bekannteste und mit 3050 Metern das höchste Bergmassiv.
Besonders Auffällig sind die Guanakos, Darwin-Nandus und Kondore. Am bekanntesten ist wohl der Grey Gletscher, der im Lago Grey kalbt.
Im Jahre 1978 wurde der Nationalpark von der UNESCO zum Biosphärenreservat erklärt.
