.The Dustbin Man and the Tramp.

Sitting at exact opposite ends of the benches, they acknowledge one another and turn away at the same time - at this point I make a photograph.
This shows two people who spend their lives on the streets - one cleans up litter for his job - the other collects litter and waste food to survive - when you think about it, they are really not so dissimilar.
After this shot was taken, the Tramp, in full trust of the Dustbin Man asked him to watch his things while he went to do something - leaving all he had in the world ( from what I could see: a guitar, a jacket and some things he collected from the streets) with a stranger.
The life of the Tramp is about taking chances and plodding on...
The photograph was taken in Tübingen, August 2012.
