A Gleam in his Eye

This photo is especially for Fons and Mark who inspired me so much to take bird photos (whenever possible).

This BIG raven was taken last week when we had lunch in the snow after skiing. My husband fed him dried dates from our food - and he came so close. Amazing!

shot with my little Canon PowerShot 100 ISO, 1/1600 sec, F5, 72mm (shows how close he was). I only cropped some snow from the top of the photo.

Amazing is right!!! Wonderful shot Adele. It just goes to show you that you don't need all the bells and whistles to get the shot. The Canon PowerShot is a great little camera and you are a wonderful photographer. Put the two together and that makes for an AWESOME image. Loads of Hugs to you. ~ Linda

as for our
almost
impressive negative temperatures up here
( 'only' -36c in the car as i write this )
i hope for minus fifty every year
but
with little luck the previous several -
the colder it gets
the more beautiful it becomes ...
