I am a canon photographer who takes pictures for fun.
I use a canon EOS 70 D, with a canon 18-135 lens.
Over many years, I have come to the conclusion that trees are easier to photograph than people. I have learnt that the sun is always in the wrong position in the sky - and that it's no use complaining about it. Finally - my experience has made me firm in the view that dogs don't really understand what photography is about - but a minority of them seem willing to give me the benefit of the doubt, with a refreshing "live and let live" attitude on their part.

By the way -I see where the nurnburgring is.
The nearest that i have been to that area is , a few years ago, when I visited Duren, Cologne and dusseldorf - all very nice.

You are very kind, Dieter.When I edit my photographs - it means that for me - the holiday lasts one or two months, and not just the three weeks that i was there.
I liked the light in siracusa - and the way - in the morning - it slanted down the alleyways - and sometimes it illuminated the clouds of dust and of insects. It created lots of triangles of light.
I also liked the sunlight on the pink(ish) stone - which made the stone seem very light.
Yes - Italy remains my favourite destination.

Hello Mark! Your journey to the deep south, or rather into the feet/boots of "Bella Italia". Impressions from Syracuse and Palermo in the morning hours.
