What a timing for that shot, Adele, to catch the eagle gazing defiantly and confirming his airfield supremacy!... Fantastic..
    many regards alexander

I would love to see a bald eagle in front of my lens :-)
I like the contrast here between the fg and the bg . a great landscape and the eagle adds a lot to it

Great landscape - all topped by this wonderful eagle! Very impressive picture, Adele!

Tu continues de nous faire rêver! C'est presque un peu du sadisme! ;-)

"an eagle and a concave rabbit* – that's more than enough for a good fable!" the wapiti remarked, and the grizzly nodded and sighed with relief: "thank god! no need for us to appear!" they both chuckled and leaned back against the rock to light another smoke … ; )) hugs, sabine. p.s.: i just love the almost fake (prop like!) looking textures of the eroded and weather-beaten rock! and the eagle, of course, is a terrific (and vaguely heroic) sight!

*the latter being indented in the porous rock! : )
