Sleepy chick

My friend is a school teacher and she is hatching chicks in an incubator for the school children to see. She brought the incubator home last night as they were close to hatching and we watched two break out of their eggs! It was really strange to hear the chicks inside the eggs cheeping loudly! This little one was the first to emerge twelve hours before the others yesterday lunchtime so he had dried out and is really fluffy! He was having a snooze in my hands.

Ohhh! How cute this little chick is and how relaxed is s/he sleeping in your safe and warm hands. So s/he is the senior chick, and now is planning while sleeping, for the future programs of leading the other chicks. ;-)
Hope a safe poultry life for s/he.

The miracle of life .... with every creature big and small so wonderful to see ... cute and lovely to look at this little yellow fluffball, all safe and protected in your hands. Hope he/she will grow up to be a fine specimen of the race.
