The Fungi world (31) : Velvet Shank
Deep inside the darkness of an old rotten stump, I found these Velvet Shank fungi growing in their very young stage.
This is one of the few fungi that likes cold weather. It can easily survive frost and as a consequence can be found (with some luck) all winter long.
Dutch name : Gewoon fluweelpootje
German name : Samtfussrübling
Latin name : Flammulina velutipes
