This is what one would/could see, as passenger, in Wuppertal's Schwebebahn ... looking out the windows ... the Schwebebahn is an overhead train; swinging, hanging on one rail,
and
the fotos are taken from inside the train.. usually moving.. (up to 35kmh) above the streets, over the river Wupper and through the various stations (a route of 13km hin und 13km zurück).

@Björn ... this was taken out of a moving train.. at about 35kmh ... tipping in a slight curve ... so the conditions were not optimal .. (like on a tripod with cable release) ... it expressed the fleeting movement of passing buildings near and far... simply what one sees out of the windows... the glass is very often dirty ... or scratched ....

besides, I don't always wear glasses ... and have gotten to love the slight vagueness of my enfironment.

When you took this picture, you don't seem to have used the shortest shutter speed on your camera. Adrena is right. Houses like these are very common in Germany, but to us in Sweden, they are rather unusual.

Diese 70ziger Jahre Bauten sehen doch überall gleich aus, in Berlin stehen genau die gleichen...wie einfallsreich.......
Eine super Aufnahme..alt und neu....die Perspektive....

Liegt es an mir? Es ist leicht verschwommen, das Foto.

Vom architektonischem Aspekt, wäre nicht nur die Frontansicht des "alten Hauses",
im Gegensatz zum (vermuteten) 70 ger Jahrebau interessanter, zumindest was die Ästhetik betrifft.

Schöne Gegenüberstellung, in feinem Licht :)

alt und neu- einen fortschritt kann ich hier nicht erkennen- interessant gegenübergestellt und auch die perspektive ist ungewöhnlich- reizvoll gemacht
