Its fun to go up to the 630 ft above ground level observation deck within the peak of the "Gateway to the West", the nickname of the Gateway Arch, part of the Jefferson Expansion Memorial.

Designed in 1947 and completed more then 20 years later, its a well known icon of St. Louis.

I am sorry for the visible spots. I´ ve done all to clean up the window, but later I saw that there were some bubbles between the window glass and the solar protection foil. It might have caused that spots.
Enjoy the view so far.

On the very left you see the Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, in the middle the old Court House, which was also a place, where pioneers gathered to plan their treck westward.
