Longtailboat on the Khlong Lat Mayom

Oncoming longtailboat on the Khlong Lat Mayom in Maha Nakhon western outside Bangkok.
Riding a longtail boat is a bit of an adventure in itself – the distinct narrow, beautifully crafted wooden hull is powered by the famous longtail engine – basically a car engine with a propeller shaft attached.
I often use the longtail boat service, because it is sometimes the only way of transportation.
