HIMALAYAS AT 18000 FEET

These shots were taken at an altitude of 18000 feet in the Himalayas in Northern Sikkim. These were shot en route to lake Gurudongmar , which is one of the world's highest freshwater lake. As an when one goes to a higher altitude the flora and fauna changes and at this altitude, there is no vegetation except the lichens. We could only spot some Yaks on our way.
