Crown Imperial
Crown Imperial (also known as Kaiser’s Crown) is a plant native to Asian Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and the Himalayan foothills.
Several cultivars have been developed for garden use with colours ranging from scarlet to yellow, but the flowers of the wild form are originally orange-red.
The plant has a distinctly odour that repels mice, moles and other rodents.

Latin name : Fritillaria imperialis

One of my father's favourite garden flowers, he has plenty of them but all are in orange colour. I had no idea their characteristic smell is a good rodent repellant, it certainly repells me:) I love the yellow version.Bw, Viola
