Convergence, London
Modern meets Traditional along (and over) the Thames.
This view of London's Millennium Bridge was taken on a November afternoon from Bankside on the
south bank of the river, looking across to Sir Christopher Wren's iconic dome of St Paul's Cathedral.

Good contrast between old and new. Thanks for adding it to the monthly theme.s. sabine krause 12. März 2013, 10:02
convergence of people, convergence of old and new buildings… an image that suits the ingenious city architecture perfectly! love, how everything in the shot literally seems to be "streaming" to st. paul's cathedral, that "mother church" of london. with its turquoise transparency, the walkway itself appears to resemble a flowing river… love, how it corresponds with those patches of blue in the sky! greetings, sabine. p.s.: maybe it would make a nice contribution to the monthly theme of "now and then", as suggested by ken piros in the general forum? here's the link, just in case: http://www.fotocommunity.com/forum/general/monthly-theme-march-2013-now-and-then-366389#p5262756ThomSch 5.
