.......in the old Civil War battlefield on the other side of this fence, or is it just some trees in the morning mist......

indeed a scenery of mystery and leaving room for thought ... the distant shapes ghostlike in the mist, and combined with the barbed wire a really well taken image !!!

HI Den, the misty bg holds lots of mysteries ....... all in the eye of the beholder :-) .and the mist makes for a moody scene

I suppose it all depends on how vivid your imagination is Den, some will se trees in the mist whilst others will see the ghostly figures of men who fought and sadly fell.
Very thought provoking.
