Never to young to start

Seems I have lost my 30D to Connor :-)
Taken on a beautiful day in the Highlands this summer.

Just for information I had both my cameras with me on holiday, My 7D had a wide angle lens fitted. Connor has now claimed my 30D for himself :-)

What I like is the story of the cameras. However the 30D needs a name from the Hobbits , some like. Thindrill lost his spirit after serving his mighty king in the shire.all will miss his blaze. But pearlinstill the magnificent has taken on the just deed to capture crystal clear images

A fine "making of" picture. Just like his father, he seem ro take his hobby very serious, Hope to see his pictures as well, here in the fc. Does he be taller than you now?

    Greetings
    Manuel

Fine light in the highlands ...and what better place to get interested in photography !
I expect you had plans to use the 30d as a second body
but it's better that it gets used more often. Photography is a fantastic thing to get into.
look forward to seeing his work on fc someday.
    all the best
    Andy

i agree with leonid! connor does look awfully grown – i remember those cricket shots you took of him, where he still looked a like a child. the camera suits him well, though, so i think it was a wise decision to hand it down to him for good. funny, when i first spotted the ancient cemetery in the preview, i thought the title was a little morbid ; ), claiming that one couldn't possibly be too young to start looking for the right spot to be buried in a 100 years from now. well, come to think of it, i guess that's kinda wise, too! ; ) a beautiful image of your son shooting happily away among the ancient headstones and under the beautiful scottish sky! on the one hand time really flies and little boys grow up in a jiffy, on the other eternity is a grave ; ) and solemn thing! greetings, sabine.
