Another taken this morning. I don't usually favour the white roses, I like a bit of colour, but I had to capture the beads of dew on this one.

Compliments for this very "fresh" capture. We need it - here in Pavia we had 31°C today, with high humidity values - for the next days they speek about 35°C........
I'll keep this picture near me.......

this is so beautiful, sally! love how the dew creates such a great "pearly pattern" on the petals that the rose almost appears to be transpiring! and i'm sure only roses transpire this picturesquely ; ))! great shot again! and a lovely pristine and innocent looking rose! hugs, sabine. p.s.: so funny: when i glanced over at the display of "recent photos of the photographer", it struck me, how much your daughter's nest-like hands resemble the cake roll that's sitting right next to it ; ))))…

In this light the rose is not just white, Sally ... on top of its subtle shades is the invisible net with thousands of tiny bead shining in the sun.
