@Elias: The main point of attention (for me) is the center, the "eye", and its lines are exactly horizontal and vertical as it is. So turning the picture is not a good idea, I think. Also the handle leads into the picture, towards the middle...

Waer noch besser, wenn die Linie vertikale Linie rechts eine schoene Gerade und nicht eine Rutschbahn darstellen wuerde. Bild etwas drehen.

Perfect composition! The fine nuances of grey to white, and then the "eye"...it gives me the feeling it is looking down rather then me looking up...
