There Was A Time
There was a time as children we'd sit near the corner and watch the cars go bye in New York City. At the end of the day before dinner we'd say how many different cars passed us bye and conclude which type was most popular.
In Naples one sits on the corner and counts the vespas. Even more important who is riding and clutching onto the driver the most. And by the end of the day know which color vesper was popular, and more which woman was most popular by how her hair danced in the breeze as she passed bye while embracing the driver.
You could tell they where lovers. Now we just sit and wonder were our young was gone and even more is there any change from how we spent it.
