You have admirable work (btw thanks for your nice words)... I have just discovered this beauty in your work. Besides the great shadows, the lights on the eyebrows and eyelashes are incredible, one can even see the shadow of eyelashes in his (her?) iris

Melanie,... As you are well aware of, the energy in a spunky 4 year old and the elusive fleeting light, I only had seconds to try to compose this moment,.. Initially, I wanted to center shadows from the window blinds perfectly to bring out the intensity of his eyes,.. Out of 15 shots,.. This was the best under the circumstances and this energetic boy,...hence the appropriate title, "Tempestuous"..... ;)

Beautiful study of those eyes. I am struggling to place that look and shadow. Are they randomn or did you mean to convey something?

Cutting narrow, more than one Primissimo Piano, to highlight the beauty of the eyes and also their stern look. Whole expression looks harsh, with facial shadows that look like those of an American football helmet!
