      It's Newcastle's main concert venue - built in 2004 to a design by Norman Foster. It's very nice, inside and out. The undulating, reflective roof tends to provide an interesting contrast with the clouds and the sky above it. The building and its site is , unfortunately, somewhat spoiled by the old-fashioned, functional, Royal Navy building sitting in front of it. (You can just the roof of this naval building in the photo above). Mark.
