Greece North Aegean Sea Chios island Mesta village.
Chios is a big and rich island in North Aegean Sea loaded with history since the ancient times. The island thrived especially in medieval period under the Genovese occupation. As a sequence to that many of its villages bear an architectural desigh that reflects characteristically their medieval origin.

das ist wie ein Eintauchen in eine andere Zeit. Die Details der Mauern und die Ausstrahlung dieses Ortes sind sehr eindrucksvoll und machen Lust auf eigene Entdeckung.

I really like that those youn people are wlking towards the light at the end of this alley through the ancient buildings. apart from their clothes and a few bits of modern paraphenalia this looks very old.
Excellent tones and detail retained in what could have been difficult light.
