the vulcanic peak of Mount Baker ....
at 10,781 ft (3,286 m) is the third-highest mountain in Washington State /USA and the fifth-highest in the Cascade Range - crossing the Salish Sea it was our constant companion and can be seen from many other areas around Vancouver and Victoria .
last week on our trip, and taken from an anchorage at Galiano Island .... Mount Baker in two of my previous photos:

ein herrlicher Anblick. Der Vulkankegel ist nahezu perfekt in seiner Form. Der von den Vögeln besetzte Felsen im Vordergrund wirkt gestalterisch enorm raumöffnend. Was sind die vier weißen Elemente im Hintergrund wohl?LG Roswitha
