africa does not know privacy, something I am experiencing every day. Most europeans would go crazy under these circumstances...!
There is noise, smoke, dirt, dust, music nearly all day and night. There is no "mine" and "yours". Things are just used if they are needed. The community owns, not the individual. Sharing your bed with 2 other adults or 4 kids is common -if there is a bed
the africa I know is much different than one can imagine, and even after more than 3 yrs here in east africa I experience every day things that make me wonder and scratch my head!

Hi, Miriam... I spent almost 25 years around Africa and still I wonder and scratch my head.... What you wrote is right: goods are community's properties, ...till capitalism concept invades them...Cheers
