Illustrated Realities of a Camera Sage
There comes a time when the very thing you love is no longer a reality. As a child we all move to the next phase. We grow up into Young Men. Time moves on and if we are lucky we remember when, and look forwards to doing what we always wanted to do. Some just go fishing. Photographers just learn to listen to their cameras talk. W move on and the camera becomes to heavy.
Then we sit, and fade into our dreams and forget ourselves, but recall the day when we raced up a mountain side to defy the light With gear in hand and back pack along over a shoulder. We shout . " I got the shot,", silently we say it was worth it, and kiss the camera we worship. Now he sits and tells the stories of the cameos in his shop, snippets about the owners in pressed blue jeans and a zipper half up. I thought do I tell him he's open for business. The I thought at his age it docent. matter. The shop has been closed for a long time , and snores at the bottom end before he nods off in another story. The door bell rings , a new costumer walks in and I slip away.
Don't worry. If we all live long enough it will happen to us all in the digital age.
Cheers
