i fear that i am so insignificant to others, to the social circles i hold dear, to my ego-hungry self. i fear to be forgotten. i struggle to leave a legacy, i struggle to have people tell me that i am important. i fear that only my tombstone will remember my name. i fear that only the grass atop my carcass will know that i exist. i fear that my life is fleeting, temporary, and negligible. then, i realized, it's pointless to fear what life is.
