End of the road .....

literally ! - this is the end of the road where we live, about 2 miles further down.....no way i would risk driving through that! It rained in the night and all day saturday - this is the result on already wet ground... we went to the waterfall in the woods to the left of this pic and i actually experimented with shutter speeds OMG - just HOW brave am I? lololololol - shame i cant find the right crop to upload my efforts :-( but it was worth it just to experiment :-))))

After- thought: I forgot to point out that the post measuring the height of the water is not even in the deepest part lol

This is a good Environmental image. I think it would have a lot more impact if it was in Black and White though.

(I hope this isn't taken from the top of a hill!! Lol!)

Don't worry , there will still be a hosepipe ban come July :-))
Thats a lot of rain you had , its sunny and beautiful here again today ( better than our so called summer ).
