in Corfu
Corfu (Greek Kérkyra) is the capital of the island of Corfu (Ionian Islands, Greece) and of the Corfu regional unit. The city also serves as a capital for the region of the Ionian Islands. The city (pop. 28,185 in 2001) is a major tourist attraction, and has played an important role since the 8th century. The city has become known as a Kastropolis (Castle City) because of its two castles.[3] In 2007, the old town of the city was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

I like this view down the street seeing all the buildings. They do look a little aged and so crowded together. A great place to stroll and take photos.Regards,

Oh je, da nagt der Zahn der Zeit ziemlich heftig an den Gebäuden. Ich hoffe, die UNESCO gibt auch ein bißchen Geld her um dieses Erbe zu bewahren. Das von Dir eingefangene Licht- und Schattenspiel wirkt sehr lebendig.LG Roswitha
