a penny for a gentle carp's dream! he's looking straight ahead, as though completely absorbed in whatever thoughts are floating through his fishy brain. to be on the safe side his vision should go UP instead, and thus include whatever eyes, lenses ; ), hands, hooks or other devices of evil could be reaching out for him from above! but no, he's a fresh water dreamer… the dreamy eye is very moving indeed! plus, it has a soothing effect on one's mind – the longer i look at it the drowsier i get… ; ) love how you captured him crossing the path of another fellow carp swimming by below his belly. obviously, that one is also not caring one bit about what may be happening in the realms above. i guess it's just the carp philosophy of life: "the less you care about what goes on above, the happier you flow!" ; ))) greetings, sabine.
