View from the Peak2Peak Gondola

the Peak2Peak gondola runs between the tops of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains ... the world's highest above the valley floor running gondola is a feat of engineering with impressive views of the surrounding mountains - for technical facts check the attached figures in my photo if you like.
I waited for the 2nd tower to come close to give my image perspective .... you can see the tiny gondolas going down - and then up again on the other side to reach Blackcomb.

if it were me in one of those gondolas, i'd keep my fingers crossed (pressed crossed! ; )) the entire way down, muttering prayers and incantations: please let the power outage cup pass from! ; )) love, how this shot works: the tower catches the eye first: "yeah, interesting!" then one looks down and – jeeeesus! ; )) hugs, sabine.

    Liebe Adele -
eine gigantische Anlage, diese Gondelbahn - sieht aber sehr robust gebaut aus - auch der Mast da vorne, sollte also eine ziemlich sichere Sache sein.
    Viele liebe Grüsse.
