Vancouver Public Library - inside the Atrium
The downtown Central Branch, also known as the Colosseum (which it resembles), designed by architect Moshe Safdie .
The Vancouver Public Library system has 2.8 million items in 22 branches, about 375.000 card carrying members and lends out 9 million items anually (first library was established 1869) - thank you Wikipedia !!!

Those details are very impressive. I wonder how many books go walkies?! That lady looks like a very avid reader and could do with a big carrier bag to carry them all in...or a trolley!Hugs
