Spooks

There's a goblin at my window,
A monster by my door.
The pumpkin at my table
Keeps on smiling more and more.
There's a ghost who haunts my bedroom,
A witch whose face is green.
They used to be my family,
Till they dressed for Halloween.

Five Little Pumpkin Sitting On A Gate

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one said,
"Oh my, it's getting late."
The second one said,
"But we don't care."
The third one said,
"I see witches in the air."
The fourth one said,
"Let's run, and run, and run."
The fifth one said,
"Get ready for some fun."
Then whoosh went the wind,
and out went the lights,
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

happy halloween to you, too, andy!! and, oh dear, i'm too late ; ))! hope i won't be eaten by evil mr. pumpkin head here for it… a great capture of the grinning vegetable ; )) – love how it's a picture both glowingly warm and deliciously scary at the same time – which for me is the true spirit of halloween! greetings, sabine.
