Thinking of Sabines comment, I think that they don't have too many bright colours as the sun would soon bleach them! No fear of that here then.....!
A very pretty and ornate church roof, my kitchen is that colour!!!

never thought about it, but frederick must be right!! all those pretty pastels in latin america… they'd look mighty ridiculous in our "northern spheres": just picture hamburg's "michel" with a dainty pink roof – the gulls would never stop laughing ; )). and the wind and rain would make it lose heart soon… i do envy those countries their pastel and orange worlds, though – so happy and candy-like and fresh looking, especially seen against a flawless baby-blue sky, like in this beautiful picture of yours! hugs, sabine. p.s.: love how that long roof is runningn diagonally through the shot, reminding me of lizard's back ; ))!
