they are such "modest" little creatures. one of them has taken to appear at our feeding place every morning: he positions himself a little way off, to stay away from the bossy blackbirds constantly roughhousing and flinging themselves into each other for the best morsels of food. in fact, he, the robin, is so well camouflaged among the leftover autumn leaves that i tend to overlook him. but when i do spot him, i make sure to throw him a raisin, which he eagerly runs after and picks up with his beak, then – probably still hungry – disappears into the shelter of the bushes again… hugs, sabine.

What a beautiful little one, so niceley blending into the environment, hard to spot but you managed:)
