Remembering those who are no longer with us
All Saints' Day at Skogskyrkogården 2008. Skogskyrkogården is a world heritage cemetary in Stockholm. I noticed this silouette view on All Saint's Day 2008 (Nov 2) while strolling through the beatiful area with my wife and daughter.
Picture taken handheld with a Nikon D300/18-200 and processed with Capture NX2.

You are right. It has the same mood in it. I think the few people accentuate the loneliness of the place. The focus on the cross in the foreground adds additional depth to the picture.

Eventhough it is connected with sadness it is very nice to look at the scene you captured. I would maybe try to add some cotrast but have to admit that it looks good also like it is because those gentle colours prevent me from associating this scene with morbid atmosphere. I like the composition as well.Greetings, Snežana
