Located in the high mountains of the French Prealps the village of Aiguines has remained untouched by the construction and damming of the Verdon River to create the Lac du Sainte-Croix.

At the exit of the Verdon Gorge its still a small, quiet and authentic villlage.

Best times to take pictures: in the morning with an awesome view down to the lake and in the afternnoon when the warm sunlight lights the village.
