I know.... not the sharpest detail in the sign, not sure if the reflective nature of the sign made it hard for the camera to focus on it or if the lens is soft. Anyway it is only up for a short time for the monthly theme this month. Maybe I should have used an f-stop of 5.6 - 6 and slowed the shutter speed down.....

Sabine.....Creative Blur !!! That’s it, my photographic mind is so sharp that I did creative blur without even consciously trying….. I amaze myself sometimes.

: )))))))))) don't worry about lack of sharpness! you must have been dancing and bobbing and capering about the road so hard (great music!!) that it wasn't possible to keep anything in focus! ; )) or else you could say it's a creative blur deliberately applied to objectify the swerving motion expressed in the sign! ; ))) i'm enjoying myself here! a fun monthly theme – great to tell stories with one's images! greetings, sabine.

Some camera and lens combinations causes the focus to be in front of the object, especially at larger aperture settings. This has been a problem with the Nikon D40 and 200 mm zoom lens ( kit).

I know the piece of music but i'm not sure i have ever seen the video - this drumming is fantastic, thanks for sharing!

I've never seen this sign befor, a nice touch of hummer. It looks like fall has arrived.
I have no answer about the focus. I will continue to monitor this photo for more comments on this. I use the answers for my own education.
