sometimes nature produces kindred shapes in entirely different species, species that occupy different habitats, different elements even, and thus really have nothing whatsoever in common, save a strikingly poetic similarity in outward appearance. in fact, the shape and lines of these leaves here remind me of a an old world shell: the swan mussel! greetings, sabine. p.s.: very rhythmically agreeable shapes and lines indeed!
