Monument of General Antonio Maceo

A landmark at the entrance to Santiago de Cuba. The statue shows General Antonio Maceo Grajales, also known as El Titán de Bronce. He was one of the most noteworthy guerrilla leaders in 19th century Latin America, comparable to José Antonio Páez of Venezuela in military acumen.
