One had to wonder if these two lads weren't secretly hoping for an interurban tram
bound for Heidelberg to come whooshing by to make the race a bit more interesting ;-)

Here the tram service between Mannheim and Heidelberg runs on its own right-of-way, railroad style.

    I hardly remember the scene, and it took a stranger´s eye to see something special in the whole scene, which is always the case when you´re outside of the own homeground.

    Not bad at all, and no one would think it was early February!
