This pit was one of the most emblematics in Asturias. It had two twin headgears but one of them was scraped in the early 90s and replaced with a fan exhaust as shown on the picture. The facility is hosting the Asturias mining companies historic archives, each time a facility is decommissioned all the paper are brougth to this place to be clasified and stored. This pit is hosting aswell the miner's rescue brigade headquarters.
