this morning, this Boardwalk goes straight through wet lands, over to the other side of the Valley to Wawayanda Mountain on the border of the States of New Jersey and New York.

An excellent use of perspective, flowing lines and colors to pull the eye rear ward. One of my favorites.

yes, I walked this part of the trail- in the wintertime it is actually easier, because this area is very swampy and has many Mosquitos in the summertime.
And, I walk only smaller sections of the trail, it's a great opportunity to take photos as well as getting in a good work-out

Lovely shot and I had to think immediately of Mark Billiau's shots that show similar landscapes in Belgium... and then I had to smile when reading his comment...

I love scenery like this one very much !
Reminds me a lot of 'Hohes Venn' the greatest national park of Belgium.

great perspective .... the eye following the boardwalk into the woods, the snow surrounded by warmly coloured bushes and trees .... sounds like a beautiful hike to take !!!
