    As far as I remember, I´ve been there five times :-)

    And yes, numbers of tourists were growing over the time.

      And yet
      I did enjoy the social aspect of the grand canyon.
      I liked walking along the rim trail - and seeing the enjoyment and excitement of  the many visitors from america, and from all over the world.
      perhaps you should post your pictures of the grand canyon.
      I will now look on your site to see if there are any.
