taken during christmas when visibility became so poor that much of the UK came to a standstill. wonderful opportunities for anyone with a camera, however!

strikes me that the colors work wonderfully the way they are. aaaand as for the crop, if it were possible to leave in the entire car and wheel in the immediate foreground, the overall comp might balance better. feels right-heavy although i understand your choices bc of lamp post, brick and buildings and love the way everything vanishes into the bg in grayscale gradient succession. LOL..cool shot.

Robert: i have actually already toned the colours down a fair bit, but i wanted to keep a hint of them as a gage of the thickness of the fog.

thanks for your suggestions, i shall take them into account and produce another effort.

The atmosphere is there but the red color in the cars shouts for attention. I would suggest to turn this picture in B/W. I think the result will be much stronger.

Nice effect you have created here by use of the fog... But the car and the house aint giving anything to the photo so crop then away and you will have a much better picture...
