In fact I know and see my defects but I am just on the beginning of the road considering the technical side and trying to take photos on a more "conscious" way.
I used a Nikon F-55 with standard 28-80 mm zoom, close-up mode (the paper photo is scanned).

Zsuzsana, very nice butterfly shot, but you might consder cropping out some of the left side, taking away some of the distraction and bring the butterfly in closer. That would take it off center also, remember the rule of thirds.
You should also list your shooting data, making it possible to critique how you took the shot.
