Repair and convalescence

Sailing throughout the year, especially in hard weather is very strenuous not only for seamen but also for ships. Usually a lot of repair work is necessary before the ship can safely return into the water.
The photo was taken in the island of Spetses, in Argo Saronic sea, with repair in full swing..

At first sight it seems that there are too many details. But when you watch carefully you can see the sense hidden among them. The environment is as stormy as the fate of the ship, which will regain its glory...

This looks to be one very busy shipyard with all of the paraphernalia scatterd about ready for the repair work to continue....but where have all the workers gone ?

great - and one of those places where you would find me when visiting a town with a harbour :-))) boats "on the hard" always so interesting, and your image showing all the goings-on in this busy boatyard well composed and presented !!!
