This came out so well. Lighting is too so perfect. I have tried several shots with my D 80: 18-13-mm. Never was lucky to capture something like this.
As Robert said, you take a full face of this flower and present to us.

Thanks for your observations. I'm currently in the experimental stages re: positioning of focal items within the frame... what do you mean by 'full view at the flower'.. closer to the flower? Unfortunately I'm limited by the abilities of the autofocus on my camera... time for an upgrade =)

it is indeed ... a little bit centered for me and i would like to have the full view at the flower ...what i like about it is the sharpness ...
