Maya ball game. called by the Maya "pok-pok-ta" or more correctly "pokolpok" and by the Aztecs "tlachtli" is an ancient Mesoamerican ball game whose practice dates back some 3500 years in the past and has been considered as background football.
Pok-ta-pok or tlachtli, it is still practiced in Mexico and Guatemala, as a form of regional folklore.
