My new day
New Brighton Pier at dawn. Me and my Fuji Finepix E500 at the beach at the end of my street. Took my tripod and set camera to landscape. Bracketed either side just in case but camera did a pretty good job. New Brighton Beach is on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand just north of Banks Peninsula.

Thanks, Rob!I'm pleased you visited my small collection of pics.
I saw you chose "Ascona" for the forum.
When I discovered (I've been using a pc only for three months!) that I could "invent" colours, I felt like a little girl playing with a new toy, and my little cousins aged 2 and 3 suggested their favourite colours for more pics!
