Mesta is the most famous medieval site on the island. The village is a real maze of strenuous small pebble stoned streets, nearly corridors, with kids playing in them and locals carrying out their daily committments. In order to carry out shooting a very early get up was necessary to avoid people around...
(Mamiya 645 AFD, film slide Velvia 50 120(6x4,5), with a tripod. The slides were converted to digital with Nikon Coolscan 9000 film scanner).

I can well understand your need to getup and out early in order to get your pictures before thse passages fill with people, but the fact that you caught this lady, for me, makes the scene perfect and alive. Once agin you subtle colours are superb.:))
